The Science Show
- Mixing Science -
A visually unique presentation of science - utilizing the skills of juggling, comedy, balancing, magic, and music. Wacky and educational - from a rap song about accidental inventions to a hair-raising experiment with electricity. The Science Show proves that science can be found at school, on the playground, at home, in your car - it's every where! And the more we discover, the more fun learning can be.
John is an international performer who graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Russian Language and chose to do his graduate work at the Ringling Bros. Clown College. He has performed at schools, museums, and festivals throughout the United States and Canada. John's credits include Disneyland, the White House, the National Theater, the China International Children's Festival, and Magic Land in Bangkok, Thailand. His other scientific hobbies include aikido and ski racing.
Monkey's in the house
Magic, Music, Juggling and Silly High-Spirited Comedy
Flap your arms, tap your feet and untap your inner monkey,
John is back! His new show features original music and
comedy, amazing magic and a couple of really cool juggling tricks.
The lyrics are clever and funny and often tell a story. The music plays in your head way past its bedtime. From the mysterious trench coated secret agent in 'I Want to be a Spy' to the wiry box juggling 'Stink Monkey', audience members will not want to take their eyes or ears off the stage.
John sings the blues with his favorite toaster, spins
plates, banters and sings a duet with his imaginary friend Tippytoes (who magically appears), tosses hats, stretches his arms, and turns his head completely around backwards - all for the sake of comedy.
John has performed on stilts at festivals, circuses, parades, picnics, department stores, baseball stadiums, night clubs, car dealerships, promotions, and almost any other event with at least ten foot high ceilings.
He's often referred to as a "10 foot tall human cartoon," and frequently
seen with crowds of children following him. John will bring attention to any promotion and his clever banter and physical comedy will add energy and fun to all occasions!
